My name is Jennifer Leah Rogers and I live in Church Hill, Tennessee. I have been a licenced Zumba instructor for four and a half years and teach Zumba for and living; during an average week I teach around nine classes. I am a former trainer at Curves and I also taught Pre-K for ten years.

When I was younger I had a passion for dance. I began taking classes when I was six years old and that passion still lives in my heart. I was a competitive dancer for eight years and I loved every minute of it. I was also an assistant dance instructor at the studio where I danced. 

I first became aware of Shazzy Fitness through Facebook. It looked AWESOME! So I further investigated the program on the Shazzy website and YouTube. Then I began to ask questions about the program; when I received the answers I knew that being a Shazzy Instructor was something that I wanted to pursue and invest myself in, so I signed up for the training in August and it was fantastic! I love Zumba, however the music is not always wholesome and the program isn't built on Christian morals and values.  I attempted to use Zumba as a ministry at church but it was always a struggle to find the right music and dances that wouldn't be offensive. Shazzy Fitness was exactly what i needed to teach in a church setting, it was an answered prayer! 

During the month of October I held Shazzy classes every Saturday morning, the classes were all free but one class was designated as a Shazzy Pink Out class. We raised around $70 for the National Breast Cancer Association. During the month of January I plan on having another series of Saturday classes. I feel that God sent Shazzy Fitness my way to be used as a ministry, to help me reach out and make more connections to people and further help them on their fitness journey. 

I'm so excited to see what amazing plans God has in store for Shazzy Fitness!!
