Have you found that you are running out of the motivation to keep going and reach your goals? When God created Adam he put in him everything he needed to be a productive human being. He gave him a strong body, free from sickness and disease. He gave him a sound mind, free from worry and stress, but we all know the story of how and through him, we lost God’s original plan for man. The good news is that Jesus came so that we will have life and have it more abundantly!
No matter where you are on your journey of health and wellness, provision has been made for you to live your best life. Here are some reasons that you should cast away any fear of failure and pursue a life of faith and fitness:
- God wants you to be healthy and whole. 3 John 2:2 says, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” When we line up our thoughts with God He will prosper us. So the first step is having faith that He intends for you to be whole.
- You can live abundantly. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” Part of living the abundant life is having a strong and healthy body.
- Faith requires work. Opportunities often come disguised as work. Meal prepping, eating healthy and working out look like and feel like work but the reality is that they are an opportunity to live an abundant life. In order to extend your faith you must do the corresponding work.
When Jesus went to that Cross he bore everything we face. He made it possible for each one of us to be our best and live the best life possible. God loves each of us so much that He sent a comforter, the Holy Spirit, to live in us and with us. If you can’t find the motivation to make a lifestyle change, let the truth of God’s love be your motivation!
