As we embark upon this holiday season I am reminded that we all have a lot to be thankful for. First and foremost, I am grateful to be an heir of the True King of the universe. Beyond all doubt, all naysayers, all scientific proclamations, God alone rules ALL because He created ALL! Colossians 1:15-17 says, “The Son is the image of the invisible God…in Him were all things created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Our Lord is before all things and in Him all things hold together. Hallelujah, I am grateful!
Genesis says God alone created day and night; morning and evening; the land and seas; the mountains and valleys; the moon, the sun, and stars; the land and the seas. He filled the waters with life, He filled the skies with birds and created every living creature that fills the earth, including man and woman. What an amazing omnipotent God – I am grateful!
Our Father made us in His image with a heart, mind, and soul. We are able to have sound reasoning and we have a capacity to love like Jesus! Let us strive to be more like Him in our daily walk and talk. Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus so others will draw near.
I have so enjoyed the opportunity to write for Shazzy Fitness. It gives me great joy to share Christ beyond my small realm of influence. I am filled will gratitude that the Lord has entrusted me with His Words to share with His greatest treasures: each of you. For this privilege, I am grateful!
Jesus loved us so much that He left the splendor of glory and all its magnificence to come and die on a cross to save humanity from the wickedness and calamity in this dying world – I am grateful!
Our Lord has demonstrated His sacrificial love by dying for all sinners. Now, with an outstretched nail-scarred hand, He says to all “COME.” He wants to have a relationship with the least, the last, and the lost. Those who live in mansions and those who have little; those in the Appalachians, those in the inner cities, and those in the suburbs; those in the North, the South the East or the West; to those the world over…He extends His love to all! When we with an open heart and sound mind say “Yes Lord, I receive your gift of Life, Salvation and Eternity with Him to be ours forevermore,” I am grateful!
Salvation is just that simple; when we say “Yes Lord, I believe you are the Son of God who came to die for us and in faith I confess and repent of my sins,” we are forgiven! It doesn’t matter who we think we are, what we have or don’t have, who we know, where we go or what we do, no matter what race or color or culture, His gift is available to all who accept Him. As a young girl at 16, I asked the Lord into my life. I so desperately needed to be loved and valued. His love and care for me has been more than anything I could ever say “thank you” enough for…I am grateful!
So on this Thanksgiving 2016 let’s pray and ask our Savior and Lord who we can share this Message of Hope with this week. Someone you can invite to sit at the Table of Life with you. Someone who can enjoy the forgiveness of a Father who will joyfully reach across the Heavens to welcome you. And if that person is you who wants a seat, He is waiting for you; just open the door to your heart, He has a place for you! Praise God and Hallelujah – I am outrageously grateful!
Our God is an Omnipresent God who sits high and looks low to see, to hear and to answer our every need. His peace will sustain us, His mercy will save us and His grace assures us all things will work for our good. Praise God, I am grateful!
Let’s give thanks for all things and remember we serve the True and Living God – He alone sits on the throne. Our loving Father will never relinquish His crown or authority to anyone. Our Father is King of Kings, Lord of Lords; He is the God of all Hope and hope never disappoints! GOD I am eternally thankful!
